Membership is free! Any student, teaching staff or non teaching staff can become a member of Green Militia.

ABOUT THE COMMITTEES
1. Advisory Committee:
This committee comprises the teaching staff. The teachers and faculty members are included in this committee upon becoming member of Green Militia. There are no separate formalities for this committee. The advisory committee keeps check on the work of Green Militia. All the projects and campaigns of Green Militia are carried out in the presence of at least one member of the advisory committee.
2. Steering Committee:
The nucleus of Green Militia, it is the father committee which is responsible for taking every major decisions of Green Militia. After discussion of issues or any project by the other committees/members, the steering committee gives the final approval. It should comprise of members who have considerable experience in environmental programs, social projects, mass outreaches and administrative works.
3. Working Committees:
Depending on individual interests, members can opt any of the following committees which would be headed by group leaders who are selected on basis of their experiences. The leader of each working committees are selected by sole discretion of steering committees. Steering committee reserves all the right to place members in any working committee depending on suitability. Members can mark their interests in the registration form filling.
a) Survey and Research Committee: Responsible for all survey and research activities been carried out under Green Militia.
b) Finance and Accounts Committee: Responsibility includes planning and management of the financial issues.
c) Publication and Media Reporting Committee: Responsibility of preparing press releases, media handling etc. Persons having relevant PR experience with creative writing skills would be preferred.
d) Advertisement and Creativity Committee: Responsibility includes designing posters, dissemination of notices, and social outreach campaigns.
e) Outdoor Campaigning Committee: Work includes planning and management of outdoor activities like cleanliness drive, plantation programs, social outreach, etc.
