O.S.D. ordered ban of plastic in canteen of R.G.S.C.
Green Militia started the campaign to make RGSC (Rajiv Gandhi South Campus) a plastic free campus. In latest addition, Officer-on-Special Duty, Prof. O.N. Singh has declared on 24th March that plastic glasses are been replaced by kulhads in Jalpan Griha (Canteen). The canteen staff is also directed to not use polybags as well. This is seen as a revolutionary step towards eco-friendly campus. The Green Militia has been trying to make RGSC a 'Plastic-Free Campus' since February, 2010. This time students, teachers and faculty members joined hand for this noble cause.
